YOU SHOULD HAVE KNOWN I COULDN'T KEEP MY MOUTH SHUT FOR LONG.....

Before you slam it - understand it!

The last photo I viewed - soldiers with a sign saying something along the lines of "Quit yer bitchin' and get back to work!" Well that was the last straw for me. I am sure a lot of folks would love to get back to work - if there WERE any work! This protest in the USA is about the 1% who control the 99%. It's about corporate greed run rampant, controlling the government with large stacks of cash, deciding everything in this country from who has to die from lack of healthcare, to who gets to eat supper tonight. People who earn "high incomes" aren't the target here. If you work yer ass off, make $500,000 a year - good for you - you deserve to keep your money for yourself as much as the rest of us. Believe it or not - YOU are included in the 99%! What we are talking about are the folks who earn millions of dollars in "bonus" money for sitting on their asses, for doing absolutely nothing but committing a terrible fraud on this country! The insanely gross amounts of money being used for the benefit of the very few, who are the true powers in America. The system of Democracy has been eroded and corrupted by greed, and if you can't see that - then you probably still believe the lie that we have been fighting in Iraq against terrorism too. (Yeah cuz we don't care about the oil really....)

What do the majority of the 99% seek? Well let me tell you what I want....

Health insurance. I want every single person in our country to be able to go to the doctor, to be able to afford life saving medications, and oh - I want to stop having to shell out HALF of my net paycheck to get it!!

I want to be able to work at a job that pays me what I am worth. A job that pays my bills, my basic bills, and leaves me enough after that to put GAS in my car and food on my table. We need wages that enable people to survive! Christ!

I want to be able to go to the grocery store and not stress out over the price of hamburger for shits sake. What is it like to be able to shop for groceries without an assload of coupons, and the hopes that 5 meals can be made from 1 pound of hamburger?? When you wonder why everyone is so fat around here - have a look at what a fucking ingredient list for a nice family salad will cost! Oh - then have a look at what they feed our kids in school. Yeah - cuz french fries is vegetable...... so sayeth the government.

I swear I don't know why I bother even writing this. It's the same shit I have been bitching about for years. But the truth is - it just sickens me. People are sick and tired of watching this crap - big money being bailed out by our money - but then who is bailing us out? The costs keep going up, but our wages stay the same. Our friends and family have to die because they have no money to pay the doctors. On an on it goes, and yet there are some who say "quit yer bitchin".

You know, I don't want a private jet to take me to lunch. I don't need 14 cars in my garage. I don't want a house so big that I can't clean it myself, and I don't need a personal chef to cater my every meal.

I want a house I can afford. A car that is reliable. Groceries that provide nutrition for my kids, and the ability to seek medical help when necessary. I want to heat my home in the winter and put gas in my car without going bankrupt....

I know - way to much to ask.
