INCREDIBLE!

Incredibly expensive. Er um, I mean, Incredible Dave's! This was another fun stop on our week long vacation to Tennessee. We took a day to go exploring, and ended up in Goodlettesville. We found a huge mall, with this place on the inside. Looked awesome, had a bar and a place to eat good food, almost like a Chucky Cheese for grownups in a way. The kids were all excited and so were we, until we were told what everything cost. Holy mother. They had 3 little jumpy houses/obstacle course things for the kids to play in, but you had to buy them each a wristband. $7 bucks each. Ok. They were pretty cool though, each having music piped through wireless speakers, lights and all kinds of activities inside them so the kids could burn off a little energy. So we bought them. Then there were the myriad of games. We all wanted to play the games. First though, you have to buy a card for each person. $1.09 each to be exact. THEN you have to load it with money - like a credit card. Ok - $15 bucks on each one. Fine. They apparently thought that tokens got lost too easily or something - I dunno. Off we go to play the games - OH MY GAWD REALLY?? Every stinkin game in there just about, COST $1 to play!! And I am talking about the stupid ones that spit out tickets when they work. Jeebus. The fun games were $2 each - the ones that you ride - like the bumper cars up there, or the big arcade games. I was shocked!! I could see paying 50 cents a game or something, but really? They also had bowling for more money, a harness jumpy thing for $5, and of course both the kids tried that out. Needless to say, the money was gone in no time, and all the kids got for their 800 tickets was a few pieces of nasty bubblegum and some hairy balloons. But they did have fun - and they fell asleep very quickly that evening! Still - GAH!!
